A team of experienced entrepreneurs founded Executive Holdings in 2007 to take advantage of today’s financial market opportunities. The four Executive Holdings partners, who have decades of experience in building and growing companies, are experts in finance, debt recovery, sales and marketing.
Josh Tawes, Executive Holdings Partner
Executive Holdings Partner Josh Tawes is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Accelerated Financial Solutions. A serial entrepreneur, Josh started his first company MAW Disposal when he was just 16 years old. He and his brother successfully operated the construction waste companies for several years.
After graduating from high school, Josh entered the world of debt management when he joined Accelerated Bureau of Collections of Richmond, Va., in 1999 as the company’s youngest employee. Within months and still just 18 years old, he was promoted to Manager, becoming the company’s youngest supervisor.
When that company was acquired a year later by Outsourcing Solutions, Inc. (OSI), a world leader in debt purchasing and management, Josh transferred to OSI’s Ashland, Va. office, where he managed the collection staff asigned to Discover card and Citibank contingency portfolios.
In 2002, Josh left OSI to accept a position with Portfolio Recovery Associations (PRA), one of the nation’s largest debt management companies. After a short time, Josh was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Collections for PRA. Working in PRA’s Norfolk office, he supervised nine call center teams and was responsible for their training, performance and adherence to FDIC state and national regulations.
During his tenure with PRA, the company launched a successful IPO and grew substantially, often recording triple and quadruple growth in staff and revenues.
In 2004, Josh joined another PRA Assistant Vice President Anthony Stile to start a debt management and recovery firm, which they named Accelerated Financial Solutions. First the company operated out of an office in Josh’s home, but quickly the new business flourished and within weeks the company outgrew its one room office space.
Today, the company that entrepreneurs Josh and Anthony built and self-financed is one of the fastest growing companies in Virginia and is a rising national leader in debt management.
Josh, who is a Richmond native, has lived in the Hampton Roads area for over five years.
Anthony Stile, Executive Holdings Partner
Anthony Stile, Executive Holdings Partner, is also Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Accelerated Financial Solutions. In the financial services industry for over ten years, he has served as an integral part in the growth and expansion of several credit and debt management companies.
Anthony began his career at USA Discounters, a national furniture and credit business based in Norfolk, Va. Starting at entry level, he quickly was promoted to Credit Manager and transferred to Washington, D.C. There, he helped launch the company’s D.C. location, just the second location for the now nation-wide organization.
In 1999, he joined Portfolio Recovery Associations (PRA), where he worked in management for five years. His first role at PRA, which is one of the nation’s largest debt management organizations, was as Operations Manager. In that position, he supervised a call center team and was responsible for their training and performance. He also was responsible for ensuring that all FDCPA laws, both federal and state, were followed and that employees had the tools they needed to succeed.
Named Operations Employee of the Year, Anthony was promoted to PRA Assistant Vice President. One of only four assistant vice president’s, he directed nine operational teams and supervised over a hundred people. He also helped open PRA’s Hampton, Va., office and their Kansas regional office as well.
While he was with PRA, the company grew from just one location to a nation-wide organization, recording triple and quadruple growth year after year and successfully launching an IPO in 2002.
Using his success and industry knowledge, Anthony joined forces with another PRA Assistant Vice President Josh Tawes to open Accelerated Financial in 2004. Operating out of Josh’s home office, the new company quickly flourished, outgrew its one room space within weeks, and is now not only one of the fastest growing companies in Virginia and a rising national leader in debt management.
Anthony, who majored in sociology at Virginia Wesleyan University, is a New York native and longtime Hampton Roads, Va. resident.
Jamie Rellis, Executive Holdings Partner
Jamie Rellis, an Executive Holdings Partner, is also CEO of ME Technologies & Consulting, a consulting firm for the automotive industry. In this role, he and his ME Technologies & Consulting partner, Richie Grosskreuz, are fixed operations specialists, working with dealers to find solutions for improving dealership sales and/or service departments.
Jamie has more than two decades of experience in the automotive industry. For the first 15 years in the automotive business, he ran some of the most successful dealerships in the Northeast. After leaving the dealership world, he entered the software business, marketing and designing software products for the automotive industry.
As a software marketer, Jamie built a strong sales network within the automotive industry, created strong strategic alliances with automobile manufacturers, broke all time sales records for an Inc. magazine Top 500 company, and produced over $20 million in revenue in one year in software sales
In 2001, Jamie and Richie founded ME Technologies & Consulting. In 2002 they joined forces with AutoRevenue, an e-commerce company specializing in revenue-generating technologies for the automotive industry.
Working with AutoRevenue, Jamie is credited with helping the company achieve its double digit growth for over five years in a row. He also was involved in the 2005 sale of AutoRevenue to Dominion Enterprises, one of the nation’s largest media companies.
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Jamie came to the United States in 1980. Now a resident of Stony Point, NY, he is actively involved in his community, serves on a number of committees and works with several well known charitable organizations. He is credited with implementing an internship program for Irish students to study in the United States and with creating a scholarship program at a local school.
Richard Grosskreuz, Executive Holdings Partner
Richard Grosskreuz, one of the founders of Executive Holdings, is also CEO of ME Technologies & Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in fixed operations solutions for automotive dealerships.
Richie has more than 27 years experience in the automotive industry. He began his automotive career in an entry level position in a New York area dealership in 1981. Richie remained at this multi-franchise dealership for the next 18 years where he would develop into a highly skilled professional in every aspect of the retail automotive sector. He would eventually become General Manager for this eight franchise group and an operating partner.
In 1999, he left the dealership world to join a large automotive software vendor, helping grow that company to the top of the Inc. magazine list of Top 500 companies.
In 2003, Richie joined Jamie Rellis, an auto industry veteran, to form ME Technologies & Consulting. Together, the two partnered with AutoRevenue, a fast-faced, automotive e-software company, to market AutoRevenue’s products to automobile dealerships. The partnership resulted in AutoRevenue becoming an industry leader in permission-based email. In 2005, Dominion Enterprises, one of the world’s largest media companies, purchased AutoRevenue.
Born and raised in Brooklyn N.Y., Richie attended St. Johns University. For ten years thereafter, he successfully pursued his dream of being a professional musician. As the music business faded, Richie began his career in the automotive industry.
Married with three daughters, Richie currently makes his home in Hopewell Junction, N.Y.
